Account Deletion
How to permanently delete your PancreaTrack account and what happens to your data.
How to Delete Your Account
Log in and navigate to Settings from the sidebar.
At the bottom of the Settings page, find the Delete Account section.
You will be asked to type your email address to confirm. This prevents accidental deletion.
Your account is immediately deactivated and enters a 30-day deletion window.
After the 30-day window, your data cannot be recovered. If you want to preserve your history, download a PDF report before deleting.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account credentials (name, email, password hash)
- All pain, meal, bowel, and enzyme logs
- All lab values and glucose data
- Your health profile and onboarding data
- All physician links (physicians lose access immediately)
- AI-generated summaries and cached results
- Your subscription data (Stripe customer record is retained by Stripe per their policies)
What Is Retained
- Physician notes — notes written by your physician are retained in their physician account as part of their clinical records, without connection to your identity.
- Anonymized aggregate data — if your data was included in any anonymized research exports prior to deletion, those aggregated, de-identified records are not retroactively removed.
- Stripe payment records — retained by Stripe as required by financial regulations. PancreaTrack retains only transaction identifiers, not payment card information.
Reactivation During the 30-Day Window
If you change your mind within 30 days of requesting deletion, contact support@pancreatrack.com to restore your account. After 30 days, restoration is not possible.
Subscription Cancellation vs. Account Deletion
Canceling your Pro subscription does not delete your account. Your data and Basic features remain accessible. Only explicit account deletion removes your data. You can cancel your subscription from Settings → Billing.
